Vasantrao Kale Senior College

LATE BANO EDUCATION AND WELFARE SOCIETY is an NGO working in Nanded district. It works in the sectors of health, education and women empowerment. The organization runs Vasantrao Kale Senior College in Nanded since 2009. The college offers fulltime degree courses in Arts, Commerce and Science disciplines. Additionally since 2015 post graduation in Arts subjects and Bachelor course in business Administration (BBA) is commencing in distance mode.
The organization is committed to the cause of upliftment of the economically weaker sections of the society. It provides both monetary and non-monetary support to poor students. The organization offers free studentship to students hailing from economically weaker sections of the society specially orphans. It has established linkages with orphanages and supports the orphans living there in both cash and kind. The organization is well capacitated to ensure smooth implementation of the proposed
project as it has been working in the proposed area of intervention since its inception and hence has a relative advantage in terms of first hand understanding of the socio-economic realities, which would help it to plan the execution of the project activities accordingly.
